The conference goal is to advance advocacy efforts for holistic & inclusive ECD by emphasizing nurturing care, safety, health, nutrition, responsive caregiving, and a supportive learning environment. It highlights the importance of multi-sectoral collaboration and mobilizing resources to empower parents, caregivers, teachers, practitioners, researchers, policymakers, and advocates, ensuring that every child, from Zero to age 8, receives the care and support necessary to thrive.

The specific objectives include:

  1. Facilitate discussions and knowledge sharing on quality, access, and inclusion in Early Childhood Development (ECD), envisioning a future where every child's potential is nurtured and realized, contributing to a more equitable and sustainable society.
  2. Showcase successful ECD practices and models from Pakistan and the international community to inspire and guide programme development.
  3. Foster partnerships among academia, government, NGOs, communities, and private sector partners, including food businesses and the SUN Business Network, to strengthen ECD programming in Pakistan.
  4. Integrate ECD into mainstream sectors and engage diverse stakeholders to ensure a unified approach.
  5. Promote research, monitoring, and integration of ECD initiatives within existing sectoral programmes in both public and private sectors.
