Goal and Objectives
The overarching goal is to advance advocacy and systems strengthening for holistic, inclusive, and climate-resilient ECD, emphasizing nurturing care, nutrition, health, responsive caregiving, early learning, and safety.
Specific objectives:
- Strengthen Pakistan and Asia's understanding of ECD as a human capital, economic, and climate-resilience investment.
- Facilitate cross-regional knowledge exchange across Asia, Africa, Latin America, and OECD countries.
- Showcase scalable practices from Pakistan—including AWIP, digital parenting platforms, community ECD centers, and AIOU's professional pathways.
- Promote innovative financing models including blended finance, impact investing, CSR, and the Carbon for Care framework.
- Prioritize maternal mental health and caregiver well-being as a development priority.
- Strengthen partnerships across academia, government, NGOs, UN agencies, private sector, SUN networks, and communities.
- Advance ECD research, measurement, and academic training through AIOU's Center of Excellence.
- Launch the Pakistan ECD Investment Roadmap 2025–2030.
- Integrate ECD into mainstream sectoral programmes at national and provincial levels.
